Gloria Palace Thalasso and Hotels has received of AENOR a public recognition of its commitment with the care and respect of the environment in the daily exercise of the tourism activity, minimizing the negative impact on the environment and promoting a culture of sustainability.

The act took place last week in the frame of FITURs activities 2013, after the check of the fulfillment of the requirements established in the European Regulation 761/2001 (EMAS), and obtaining the corresponding certification for its three establishments and centers of Talasoterapia hotels.

Thus, Gloria Palace Thalasso and Hotels increases its competitiveness with stable employment guarantees, decent, healthy and sustainable, providing security, confidence and trust in management, while helping to prevent and reduce environmental impact and shares it to society.

The company has also awarded with certificates evidencing compliance with the international standard ISO 14001environmental management and ISO 9001 quality management.

In this regard a few months ago a measure was put into operation in favor of the environment the Gloria Palace Amadores Thalasso & Hotel **** to operate a Biomass Boiler,Gloria Palace Royal Hotel & Spa **** Sup has been awarded with the TUI Environmental Champion and we posses, as hotel Chain and pioneers of the Health Tourism in Gran Canaria, the Certificates AENOR and AQnet.
